The Group strives to minimise the potential impact of our activities on the environment. We are committed to responsible direction and resource management of the areas that we operate in. Close relationships have been developed with the respective compliant environmental and Government agencies to achieve this aim.

The Group carries out detailed studies of the environment in which we operate in order to subscribe to the principles of continuous rehabilitation throughout all phases of the life cycle of our operations.

We aim to protect and preserve the world around us and around our community.

We have studied how to mine in a responsible way. We have implemented a strategy of landscaping and rehabilitation of the vegetation, and the biodiversity. We have also pioneered the development of an Archaeological Heritage Management Programme.
