Labour

As a result of the Group’s geographic diversity, it is imperative that the Group enforce local and international legislation, regulations and standards when dealing with its labour force. The Group shares a responsibility to eradicate forced labour, human trafficking, child labour and other labour standards violations from our supply chains.

Fighting Child Labour

The Finstone Group has a zero tolerance to child labour.

We have incorporated rules against child labour into our sourcing activities, and all commercial agreements with direct suppliers require compliance with child labour laws.

Our organization is one of the largest purchasers of dimensional stone in the world and we share a responsibility for ensuring that the dimensional stone we purchase are extracted and processed free of child labour. Any child labour allegation is a very serious issue that we fully investigate. Our Group conducts continuous physical assessments of all our suppliers — including the mining operations, factories and other areas of our business that are at risk for child labour — to ensure that strong policies and practices are in place to completely avoid child labour.

“Prevention against child labour continues to be a key measure when we evaluate any new suppliers throughout our global supply chain.”
